HOW TO PREPARE A VEHICLE FOR GRAPHICS INSTALLATION.
Good preparation helps commercial graphics install cleanly and gives the installer the best possible working surface.
Arrive clean
The vehicle should be washed before installation, with heavy dirt, road film, wax and other contaminants removed. Avoid products that leave oily or silicone-based residue on the surface.
Flag problem areas early
Loose trim, damaged paint, rust, body repairs and existing vinyl can affect installation. Identifying these conditions before the scheduled install helps avoid surprises.
Plan for access and downtime
Make sure the installer can access the vehicle and that the business has planned for the time the vehicle will be unavailable.
